Blogmas Day 22 was all about gift-giving and the spirit of Christmas. But, “Santa: Myth or Legend” was essentially part one of a two part series. Good ‘ole St. Nick and his generosity was the spotlight of that post as we discovered the legend behind the American Santa. A great segue to today.

Jesus Christ, the OG when it comes to absolute selflessness. He gave His life for us. He took up the cross for our salvation. The Lamb of God died as our substitute. And He did so without hesitation.

For Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the sake of the unrighteous, that he might lead you to God. Put to death in the flesh, he was brought to life in the spirit.

1 Peter 3:18
