Policy Info
At the heart of a well written Privacy Policy page is the intention to create full transparency between readers and websites. It informs visitors what information is collected from them, how it will be used and who has access.
And to protect everyone involved, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires that all websites that collect information/use cookies have a privacy policy available to it’s visitors. And while it’s the right thing to do legally, it also builds trust.
You probably already know that when you peruse websites, you leave little bits of personal information behind when you stop by and visit. And what info is collected? Things like your IP address, your name/username and email address. Of course, if you make a purchase then there is even more intel that can be collected by the website selling you that special something.
