Storytime: Blogmas: yay or nay?

Thanks for joining me and welcome to today’s Storytime Rant on the topic of “Blogmas”…meh!

Here’s the criteria I’m using for rating Blogmas as a success:

1. Game-plan – checked this off, I planned for 31 days of December content in November (wasn’t overwhelming)

2. Allocate time – checked this off, set aside 2 to 3 hours a day to write, format and upload daily fresh Christmassy content (doable but challenging – didn’t sleep a lot during the holiday season)

3. Set up proper expectation – fail. I was hoping to create healthy dialog w/ each upload and I did not. It got a little lonely at time.

Rating: Thumbs Down (if blogging IS your full-time career, this may be the event for you!)
