The Ultimate Guide to Catholic Mass

If you’re reading this – CONGRATULATIONS! You are on your way back to Mass and I have the perfect guide for you.

I’ve written a few posts about our Holy Catholic Mass – designed to baby step even the most devout Catholic. After all, how we are to experience Mass if it’s not a “one size fits all.”

Your story may be quite different and I totally get that. We are all on different paths. But, what better time than now as we enter our Lenten season – a time of reflection and penance.

So, if you’ve been away for some time, don’t worry. I’m here to say that you are not alone. If your heart is heavy and you feel unworthy, I’m also here to say that you are not alone.

Fear is a liar.

And God has a soft spot for sinners — and who is without sin?

“.. Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone..”

John 8:7

Let me help you jump back into the Catholic swing of things.

Mass Guide

First, I’ll begin by saying that Mass has changed slightly over the last several years. Dare I say, the Catholic Church has taken a tremendous leap ahead. At least, this was my experience returning after a rather long hiatus.

I jumped right in and I found I had a lot of questions. So, I looked for answers.

And as I dug in, I shared what I found. I was excited. It’s who I am.

So, I came up with a 3 part “Catholic Mass Handbook” series. My goal was to help others understand how to get the most out of Mass as I learned more about my faith.

  1. Very interesting post! And as a Catholic myself, I have noticed that things have changed in mass but it hasn’t been bad changes, I don’t think. Thanks for sharing!
